As soon as the cleaned paddy gets on the vibration channel, the channel is activated by a photocell and conveys the product automatically via a chute to the rubber rolls. The diagonally mounted rubber rolls are brought pneumatically into working position. For an optimum shelling process, the circumferential and differential speeds of the rubber rolls can be adapted to different rice varieties.
While the paddy is transported through the gap between the rubber rolls, the rolls are cooled by a fan. This ensures a long service life and thus low operating costs.
Advantages of the rubber roll sheller:
- Gentle shelling at high capacities
- Effective cooling of the rubber rolls
- Low operating costs
Downstream of the rubber roll sheller, the mixture of brown rice, loose husks and paddy is fed to the high-capacity closed circuit husk separator. Normally, the rubber roll sheller is mounted directly on the high-capacity closed circuit husk separator and supplied as a unit. After sorting, the mixture without husks of brown rice and paddy is fed onto a table separator for further sorting.
