The product passes through a feed screw into the working chamber. In a special rotor surrounded by a screen jacket, it is mechanically stressed by friction. The intensity of friction can be regulated at any time via a counterweight at the outlet of the machine. The separated hairs of the oat kernel are discharged from the machine via an aspirated separate outlet.
Due to its mode of operation, the oat polisher has two positive effects on the product at the same time. It can be used for cleaning the grain surface and at the same time for removing the hairs (fluff) of the oat grain by means of mechanical stress. This processing step improves the flow properties and the hygiene and also reduces the dust emission.
The SCHULE oat polisher is available in two different sizes. It consists of a base frame with a horizontally mounted main shaft. The two different sizes of the machine cover a wide capacity range. Furthermore, these machines have a large maintenance opening, so that the divided screen basket and the rotor are easily accessible.
Advantages of the oat polisher:
- Easy to operate and monitor
- Gentle product treatment
- Easily adjustable air control system
An aspiration channel is connected downstream of the oat polisher. Here, the individual remaining hairs are aspirated from the oat grain.
