The product is fed to the two flaking rolls via a frequency-controlled feed roll. The gap between the rolls which are arranged parallel to each other corresponds to the desired flake thickness. A motor-driven roller gap adjustment is available as an option. The specially manufactured scrapers below the rolls prevent unwanted product adhesions. The flakes are discharged from the machine directly below the flaking rolls and are then conveyed to a fluidised bed drier/cooler.
The extremely robust welded construction and the specially designed roller bearings reduce possible vibrations to a minimum and guarantee a long service life as well as smooth and quiet running.
The high-performance flaking roller mill is the centrepiece of our flaking line. The optimally adjusted gap and the temperature of the individual rolls ensure efficient and gentle flaking of the respective products.
